AMTA Airways Flight 115 has 15 new passengers (members)! Thanks to everyone who helped fill up the airplane!! (½ window = 1 new member)

• The 2008 Membership Drive came in for landing at the Holiday Luncheon on December 3.  AMTA members Theresa Jenkins with the Marietta Welcome Center & Visitors Bureau and Jo Ann Haden-Miller with the Atlanta CVB each recruited two new members in 2008 resulting in a tie for the member bringing in the most new members.  We were thrilled to have “Chopper” with the Gwinnett Braves with us to conduct the tie breaker. 

Congratulations to Theresa Jenkins for winning the tie breaker and two tickets on AirTran Airways, compliments of Underground Atlanta (thank you, Michelle Lawrence!).  Congratulations to the “runner up,” Jo Ann, for winning an American Express Gift Cheque for $100, compliments of American Express (thank you, Pam Todd!). 

• Remember, you can still sign up new members!  New members who join between now and the end of the year will pay the regular, annual dues amount of $195 and receive membership benefits for the rest of 2008 AND all of 2009!  Please use the attached 2008 AMTA Membership Application [pdf] and sign someone up today.

2009 Membership Renewal Notices

It's that time of year again--time to renew your membership in the only Georgia state travel region that serves the Atlanta Metro tourism industry--AMTA!

You should have received your AMTA 2009 annual dues invoice in the mail.  Please renew your membership promptly.  If you didn't receive an invoice or have misplaced it, you can also renew your membership through AMTA's website.

• Please print the application and return it with your payment.

Our goal is to have all of our members renewed by December 31, so help us reach that goal. We have an exciting year ahead and you don't want to miss out!
