Gwinnett CVBInvitations are out! The Gwinnett CVB will be hosting the AMTA holiday luncheon on December 3rd at Jillian’s. There will be door prizes, awards and fun for all!

Donations, please…

Something new and exciting for the annual holiday luncheon…door prizes!  We are collecting items for the AMTA Holiday Luncheon.  All of the donations will be combined to make several fantastic door prize packages.  Suggestions include dining certificates, hotel stays, attraction passes, gift items, etc.  Please contact Beth Bailey, Clayton County CVB at beth@visitscarlett.com or Britney Gray, GDEcD at bgray@georgia.org to donate.

AMTA Airways Flight 115 has 15 new passengers (members)! Thanks to everyone who helped fill up the airplane!! (½ window = 1 new member)

  • The 2008 Membership Drive is coming in for landing this week.  The grand prize giveaway for the member who brought in the most new members in 2008 will be announced at the AMTA Holiday Luncheon on December 3rd.  
  • Remember, you can still sign up new members!  New members who join between now and the end of the year will pay the regular, annual dues amount of $195 and receive membership benefits for the rest of 2008 AND all of 2009!  Please use the attached 2008 AMTA Membership Application [pdf] and sign someone up today.

2009 Membership Renewal Notices

It's that time of year again--time to renew your membership in the only Georgia state travel region that serves the Atlanta Metro tourism industry--AMTA!

You should have received your AMTA 2009 annual dues invoice in the mail.  Please renew your membership promptly.  If you didn't receive an invoice or have misplaced it, you can also renew your membership through AMTA's website.

  • Please print the application and return it with your payment.

Our goal is to have all of our members renewed by December 31, so help us reach that goal. We have an exciting year ahead and you don't want to miss out!

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets may be purchased at Seventeen Steps, Intown Ace Hardware, Bicycle South, and The Seen Gallery. Morning Bird Watching Float on the Chattahoochee River
Saturday, December 6; 7:30 – 10:30 AM.
Get your binoculars ready & let High Country Outfitters do the work. CNC naturalists will be there to share interpretative information and birding knowledge. Meet at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area Powers Island. Drinks & snacks will be provided. $30 non-members/$25 members. Bird Walk

Join CNC wildlife volunteer and Master Birder, Stacy Zarpentine, for a morning bird walk to see, hear & identify the various species on our grounds. This is great experience for those enrolled in any of our partner programs with the Atlanta Audubon Society. General admission: $5 adults, $4 seniors, FREE for members. Ages 16-adult.
