Ride starts at exit 7 of Georgia Route 400, and winds through Sandy Springs, Milton, Roswell, Johns Creek, Alpharetta & other scenic areas of North Fulton. There are 9-Mile, 35-Mile, 64-mile & 100-mile options. Six-mile journey down the Chattahoochee River. Music, food & fun for the entire family at the Power's Island Festivities. Park at MEAG Power, 1470 Riveredge Parkway located near Powers Island and catch the free shuttle to Morgan Falls Dam to begin. First shuttle leaves MEAG Power at 9 a.m. River journey takes approximately 3 hours. Last shuttle to MEAG Power will leave Powers Island at 4 p.m. Bring your own boat, or rent a kayak, canoe or raft from one of the park’s authorized outfitters. They will provide you with a boat, paddles, and U.S Coast Guard approved Personal Floatation Device (PFDs). To register (free) and for information contact Visitor Contact Station at 678-538-1200.
