The Mission of the Atlanta Metro Travel Association is to create opportunities to influence visitor spending and to be the collective voice for tourism in Metro Atlanta.

** New Format for Member Memo ***

This new format applies to all events and special offers for the member memos.

  • Each member is allowed 2 events per member memo.
  • The events must take place within 30 days of when the memo comes out
  • Descriptions must be 50 words or less and can include a telephone number, web site or email address for additional information.

Member Announcements at General Membership Meetings

A new protocol has been put in place regarding member announcements at the end of General Membership meetings. There will now be a sign-up sheet at the sign-in table at the beginning of each meeting. The first 10 people who sign up will be allowed to give a one minute announcement to the membership at the end of the meeting.

2009 AMTA Days at the Visitor Information Centers

Here’s a FREE opportunity to promote your hotel, attraction or area to visitors that are already on the road traveling!  We will be having AMTA Days at the following State Visitor Centers.  Bring your brochures, give-a-ways and special offers.  This promotion is being coordinated by Candice Coco with the Alpharetta CVB.  Please contact her at candice@awesomealpharetta.com to sign up!

April General Membership Meeting

The next general membership meeting will be on Wednesday, April 1st  at the Atlanta History Center. So, mark your calendar!

Program:  GDEcD Tourism division will be presenting a tourism update.  Information will include recent research results.
