FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AMTA LAUNCHES THE 2007 OFFICIAL VISITORS GUIDE

AMTA is beginning production of the 2007 Official Visitors Guide, our premier marketing tool for the Atlanta metro area.

This beautiful, full-color publication will contain everything a visitor needs to experience the best of Atlanta. The new guide will be completely up-to-date and accurate and include targeted advertisements for area businesses. Chamber members’ businesses will be featured in professionally designed, four-color advertisements. To ensure your business reaches the hundreds of thousands who will trek to Atlanta this year, advertise in the official Visitors Guide produced by AMTA!

The official Visitors Guide will be distributed at all State of Georgia Welcome Centers, local hotels and shopping malls, as well as area businesses. Thousands more are mailed to those inquiring about our city through advertising and the AMTA website.

The guide will contain:

  • Compelling photography of our city
  • Maps and visitors information
  • Lists of attractions, shopping, dining and accommodation options
  • Beautifully designed advertisements for area businesses

Great Southern Publishers, Inc. will design, produce and coordinate advertising sales for the Visitors Guide this year. Contact Linda Mosely at 1-800-697-5568 to arrange an appointment to be certain your business is featured in the official AMTA Visitors Guide. Space is limited, so call us now and secure your prime ad position in the official AMTA Visitors Guide!

Sales Committee Update and Opportunities

Southern Women’s Show – Nashville, TN

We have a great opportunity to promote AMTA and its members to consumers in Nashville, Tennessee. The Georgia Department of Economic Development Tourism Division is offering a co-op for the Nashville Women’s Show which will be held April 12 – 15, 2007. The cost is $75 per partner. We need to have at least five partners to make this work. Please contact Beth Bailey, Clayton County CVB at beth@visitscarlett.com or via phone at 404-361-0119.

Donations for Gift Baskets

Another great opportunity…Make two (2) AMTA gift baskets to have available for the GDEcD Consumer Sales Department for use at upcoming shows. We will accept hotel stays, tote bags, pre-packaged food items, notepads, ornaments, etc. Most items are welcome. All gift certificates and hotel stays should have a valid date at least through June 30, 2008. It is not necessary to send two of the same item since we are making two separate baskets. All items should be sent to Beth Bailey at the Clayton County CVB for packaging. The deadline is March 1st. Please contact Beth at beth@visitscarlett.com or 404-361-0119.
