Mark Your Calendars!
Plan now to attend the next general membership meeting on Wednesday, June 3. Arrive early at 9:30 a.m. for networking, and the meeting and program will follow at 10 a.m.
Our speaker will be Mr. Craig Dominey, who has worked as a film location specialist for the Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office for nine years. His job is to promote the state as a shooting location for feature film, television and other media productions. Craig promotes the state’s resources and maintains a location photo database to match the scene requirements of project scripts with geographic areas throughout Georgia. He will discuss the history of filmmaking in Georgia, what his office does, the economic impact of filmmaking on the state, and what communities can do to bring production their way.
As the official home of “Gone With The Wind,” one of the most famous movies ever made about Georgia, the Clayton County CVB will host us at the National Archives.
