Atlanta: Beyond Bricks & Sticks

The Cobb Galleria Centre is proud to host the traveling exhibition ATLANTA: Beyond Bricks & Sticks, March 2 through April 13 in the Center Court of the Galleria Specialty Shops, inside Cobb Galleria Centre. The Museum of Design Atlanta’s,  ATLANTA: Beyond Bricks & Sticks tells the stories of the people who live, work, learn and play in the city’s sustainable structures. Exhibit components include an interactive Atlanta Green Map, a “What is Your Carbon Footprint?” quiz, video interviews, an intimate look at student life at DeKalb County’s LEED Silver Certified Arabia Mountain High School and many other features that explain and celebrate green living.

Students 8 to 15 years only, will experience hands-on, verbal instruction and riding demonstrations. Day 1- Basic MSF Dirtbike School, 8AM to 4PM Day 2- Trailblazers course, 8AM to 4PM Bring water, drinks, snacks, and long socks. Lunch Break 12:00PM to 1:00 PM. Aurora Theatre Funny Fridays continues a season of club comedy performances on the square in downtown Lawrenceville with Headliner Tom Simmons for 2 shows on March 26. Simmons is the winner of the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition and has appeared on Comedy Central, Showtime, BET, NBC, and has written for numerous comedians. His Aurora performances will be in the intimate Gwinnett Federal Credit Union Studio with cocktail tables and full bar service from comedy series sponsor McCray’s Tavern.
