09-04-08 Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta Undergoes $1.3 Million Renovation

The Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta recently underwent a $1.3 million renovation. Improvements include new carpet, paint, light fixtures, furniture, draperies and artwork. Additionally a fireside lounge, complete with an eco-friendly ethanol fireplace, was added and will function as a reception/greeting area for groups using the hotel’s nearly 10,000 square foot meeting space.
14-inch electronic reader boards outside each meeting room can be easily personalized to make any event special, such as exhibiting photographs of a bride and groom outside a wedding reception ballroom. The business center was relocated to behind the hotel’s front desk, making it more accessible to guests. New banquet chairs and new banquet uniforms for servers will complete the overhaul. In the future, the hotel hopes to also expand its outdoor space.
